DS Automobiles is offering online sales for ordering, finance and having New DS 7 delivered. In addition to the 171 DS STORES and DS SALONS open in France, dedicated DS Expert Advisers are available six days a week up to 20:00hr by telephone, email or online chat.
All the usual steps are paperless with the opportunity for customers to trade in their old vehicle, sign the necessary documents remotely and choose their type of finance.
Wherever the customer might be, they will be able to satisfy legal requirements thanks to a secure connection with the banking system. The final act is choosing where they want delivery, whether that’s in the retailer or at home through DS DELIVERY VALET.
The entire ordering process is followed by a dedicated DS Expert Adviser who can support the customer remotely and over whom the usual legal safeguards apply.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 LA PREMIÈRE Limited Edition
Sitting at the top of the range, New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 is being offered first of all as the Limited Edition LA PREMIÈRE.
The spirit of Grand Touring is embodied by a special development conducted by DS PERFORMANCE, double championship winning Formula E team. The chassis is lowered by 15mm, the track is wider (+24mm at the front, + 10mm at the rear) and the brakes go to 380 millimetres in diameter with DS PERFORMANCE branded four-piston calipers.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 stands out through first-class performance with a 200-horsepower engine plus 110 and 113 horsepower electric motors on the front and rear axles (four-wheel drive) with weight limited to 1,885 kg for a benchmark power-to-weight ratio in the plug-in hybrid segment.
Mated to a 14.2 kWh battery, the electric motors enable driving in zero emissions mode, extra thrust or four wheel drive up to 62 km (WLTP EAER City) and 57 km (WLTP AER combined) with the ability to drive in 100% electric mode at up to 190 km/h. New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 is homologated at only 40 g/km of CO2 and has fuel consumption of 1.8 litre / 100 km.
Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres in 245/35 R21 fitment, New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds with a 1,000-metre start-stop in 25.4 seconds.
The LA PREMIÈRE Limited Edition is available with two interiors in Basalt Black OPÉRA or Pearl Grey OPÉRA, with Nappa Leather covering the watchstrap upholstery seats, door panels, dashboard and centre console. The exterior design stands out with a Black Pack (Gloss Black) on the window surrounds, roof bars, highlights on the grille, DS WINGS plus various badges and exclusively extends to the front valance.
All the features available on New DS 7 are offered as standard including DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION controlled damping, DS DRIVE ASSIST level 2 semi-autonomous driving, the DS IRIS SYSTEM infotainment system, the new DS PIXEL LED VISION 3.0 headlamps, the FOCAL Electra sound system, DS NIGHT VISION for seeing in the dark, DS DRIVER ATTENTION MONITORING that detects sleepiness, active safety brake controlled by camera and radar, front and rear parking sensors with 360° vision, heated, massaging and cooling front seats, electric rear bench, extended dual-zone automatic climate control with a control panel for the rear seats and anti-allergen filter, heated windscreen, electric panoramic sunroof, laminated acoustic side windows, alarm with deadlocks on the doors and power child safety locks.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 LA PREMIÈRE is offered for a price of 78,400 euros.
A range of five specification levels and four powertrains
Together with the DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360 LA PREMIÈRE Limited Edition, the New DS 7 range centres around five levels of specification with separate lines: BASTILLE, RIVOLI and OPÉRA on one side, PERFORMANCE LINE and PERFORMANCE LINE + on the other. The trims get additional standard equipment with a reduction in the number of options.
Four powertrains, with three E-TENSE plug-in hybrid offerings, are introduced.
Three plug-in hybrid powertrains
Double Formula E champion, E-TENSE technology makes up most of the New DS 7 range. In addition to the 360-horsepower version, New DS 7 offers versions with 225 horsepower and two-wheel drive plus 300 horsepower and four-wheel drive.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 300 can drive in 100% electric mode at up to 135 km/h. The electric-only range is homologated up to 81 km (WLTP EAER City) and 63 km (WLTP AER combined) for only 27 g/km of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption homologated at 1.2 litre / 100 km. The 0 to 100 km/h is covered in 5.9 seconds and the 1,000-metre start-stop is carried out in 25.9 seconds.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 300 starts at 60,200 euros.
For New DS 7 E-TENSE 225, the electric range is homologated up to 80 km (WLTP EAER City) and 65 km (WLTP AER combined) for only 28 g/km of CO2 emissions and fuel consumption homologated at 1.2 litre / 100 km.
New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 225 is available from 53,900 euros.
A Diesel engine is also available
New DS 7 is still offered with a BlueHDi 130 Diesel engine linked to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Featuring a variable geometry turbo and high-pressure direct injection, it has all the latest technology for consumption homologated at 4.0 litres / 100 km and CO2 emissions of 106 g/km.
Prices start at 44,700 euros.
OPÉRA: French elegance
A benchmark for refinement, New DS 7 introduces two lines for its OPÉRA specification: Basalt Black and the new Pearl Grey colour, trim available for all powertrains.
In the spirit of designs from the best craftspeople in French luxury, DS Automobiles is demonstrating its expertise with its interiors. Nappa leather covers the seats with the watchstrap upholstery, door panels, dashboard and centre console. The airbag also gets a Grain Leather finish. The trim, with “Pearl” stitching and the “Clous de Paris” embossed inserts sign off the work of the DS Automobiles craftspeople.

RIVOLI: the balance between materials
With the Basalt Black leather upholstery made out of Claudia leather, the RIVOLI interior introduces a cockpit with more pronounced grain and trim in the spirit of the leather worker.
Primary standard equipment is DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION controlled damping (on E-TENSE versions), the DS IRIS SYSTEM infotainment system, the new DS PIXEL LED VISION 3.0 headlamps, active safety brake controlled by camera and radar, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera, automatic dual-zone climate control.
PERFORMANCE LINE and PERFORMANCE LINE +: Deep Black Alcantara®
In its PERFORMANCE LINE and PERFORMANCE LINE + specification, new DS 7 introduces Deep Black Alcantara® upholstery on its seats, door panels, dashboard and centre console. The steering wheel is covered in perforated grain leather with Gold and Carmine stitching.
In addition to the equipment available throughout the range, PERFORMANCE LINE adds a middle rear armrest with ski flap, aluminium pedals and footrest, Carmine wheel centres and a special DS badge on the bonnet. The PERFORMANCE LINE + version adds the new DS PIXEL LED VISION 3.0, reversing camera, electric front seats as well as a Black Pack including the DS WINGS, window surrounds, roof bars, grille and badges in Black.
BASTILLE: full of equipment
The Bastille specification introduces an interior in Peruzzi Bronze Cloth, with trim in scale-effect DS Mistral Canvas. This is inspired by the grain of the skin of a fish through offering a surface as soft as it is tantalising to touch. The Basalt Black Leather interior is available as an option.
In this configuration, New DS 7 gets plenty of safety equipment, notably cruise control and a speed limiter with lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and camera-controlled active safety brake. The electronic braking and stability systems are made up of the ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA), dynamic stability control (ESP) with traction control (TC) and trailer stability control. Automatic headlamps, automatic front windscreen wipers on the tinted acoustic windscreen are also standard, as is driver attention monitoring and eight airbags.
On E-TENSE versions, the DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION controlled damping is also standard, like the DS IRIS SYSTEM infotainment system, whatever the powertrain.
Exterior personalisation
Six colours are offered: Lacquered Grey and Sapphire Blue supplementing metallic Platinum Grey as well as the pearlescent Perla Nera Black, Crystal Pearl and Pearl White colours.
The wheels go from 18 to 20 inches with Class A tyre fitments across the range except for New DS 7 E-TENSE 4×4 360. This model gets 21-inch BROOKLYN wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
