Lincoln achieves record sales in 2020

Despite a challenging year that brought unprecedented events, Lincoln Middle East achieved a significant 11.7% sales growth in 2020, and closed off a strong fourth quarter that outperformed 2019 by a staggering 16%.

Attaining new heights, July and September led 2020’s sales increase, setting a new sales record for the brand in the region since the past four years. This success stemmed out of the ever-growing demand for Lincoln’s flagship Navigator SUV. Sustaining its legacy as one of Lincoln’s biggest success stories, the car has been setting benchmarks in quality and ultimate luxury for years.

Following the Navigator success, the Aviator also stole the show, and its popularity continued to grow with an increased demand across the GCC. The brand’s newest three-row, premium large utility vehicle, fell in second behind the Navigator in 2020’s sales figures, and accumulated 24% of the brand’s total sales.

“Our results in 2020 reflect the resilience displayed by the teams in our distributor partners and their unwavering commitment to deliver the highest standards of customer experience. The year brought along a unique set of challenges, and together we managed to navigate these challenges to not only sustain our sales but even outperform 2019” said Sami Malkawi, Sales and Ownership Experience Director, Lincoln Direct Markets.

“Our fresh line up of SUVs continue to gain popularity in the GCC and deliver on the tenets of the Lincoln brand. This line up – including our newly launched Aviator and Corsair – has proven to be very popular and continue to witness increasing demand, this coupled with the commitment to our Lincoln Way customer experience positions our brand for even greater successes in the near future”
