1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville “Rosie”

Few experiences match the thrill of a road trip, and what better way to hit the highway than in a classic? Meet “Rosie,” a 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville, from The BLOCK family. Rosie, with her LT4 E-ROD crate engine, is ready to cruise all 50 states, starting with the iconic Route 66.

Rosie is a rare gem, one of only 2,100 Eldorado Seville models produced in 1957, and even fewer in Copper Metallic. This historic road trip will support small businesses and celebrate the joy of driving, alongside Mobil 1’s initiative to make Route 66 a National Historic Trail.

Finding Rosie was a journey itself, led by Andy Williamson at The BLOCK, who discovered her at the St. Louis Car Museum. With the help of Brandon Smith at Smith Chassis & Metalworks, Rosie’s suspension was perfected for long drives.

Rosie’s transformation includes a modern LT4 E-ROD engine, delivering 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with a SuperMatic 10-speed automatic transmission. This powerhouse setup ensures she performs as impressively as she looks.

The exterior retains its original Copper Metallic and Ivory White hues, enhanced by Chem Guy Detailing’s meticulous work. Inside, Retro Designs crafted custom elements while preserving Rosie’s classic charm. Modern touches include a Dakota Digital speedometer and a Restomod Air system for comfort.

With updates from Smith Chassis & Metalworks and parts from Moser Engineering and Master Power Brakes, Rosie’s suspension and braking systems are top-notch. The Inland Empire Driveline ensures smooth power delivery, while Coker Tire’s classic whitewalls maintain her period-correct style.
