Nissan is marking the fifth anniversary of World EV Day with the unveiling of its high-performance Ariya NISMO, blending the company’s NISMO motorsport heritage with cutting-edge electric power. The Ariya NISMO, based on the 87kWh Ariya e-4ORCE, showcases enhanced aerodynamics, improved handling, and an upgraded powertrain, delivering an electrifying driving experience without sacrificing everyday usability.
Aerodynamic Mastery
The Ariya NISMO features a redesigned body that significantly reduces lift, enhancing both performance and efficiency. Inspired by Formula E, its new spoilers, air curtains, and front splitter help reduce drag, while the NISMO-embossed ENKEI 20-inch wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires improve grip and cooling.
Enhanced Performance
Powered by a NISMO-tuned 435 PS (429 HP / 320 kW) electric motor and producing 600 Nm of torque, the Ariya NISMO accelerates from 0-62 mph in five seconds. Its e-4ORCE system, derived from the GT-R NISMO, enhances cornering ability, while suspension tweaks improve body control and agility. The introduction of i-Booster technology increases braking performance.
Luxury Meets Performance
Inside, the Ariya NISMO boasts a premium, sporty cabin with suede-trimmed seats, red stitching, and new digital gauges. The cabin is designed to offer comfort while maintaining the exhilarating NISMO experience.
Availability
Sales of the Ariya NISMO will begin in January 2025, with a limited Stealth Grey launch edition available for pre-order later this month. European markets, excluding Cyprus, Malta, and Northern Ireland, will offer the vehicle.
