Hyundai Unveils Teaser Images of New A-Segment Sub-Compact EV: INSTER

Hyundai Motor Company has released the first official teaser images of its upcoming A-segment sub-compact EV, named INSTER. The name INSTER, derived from “intimate” and “innovative”, signifies the vehicle’s evolution from the Korea-only, petrol-powered CASPER introduced in 2021. INSTER is poised to set new benchmarks in driving range, technology, and safety features for its class.

The teaser images showcase a robust yet compact SUV profile featuring signature LED daytime running lights, pixel-graphic turn signals, and tail lamps that define INSTER’s distinctive design.

Hyundai projects that INSTER will offer a maximum range of 355 km (WLTP) on a single charge, promising to deliver impressive performance for a vehicle in this segment.

INSTER will make its global debut at the Busan International Mobility Show later this month, marking a significant milestone in Hyundai’s EV lineup.
