KAMM 912c – Custom Porsche 911 Restomod Delivered to Carlos Garcia

KAMManufaktur is proud to announce the delivery of chassis number 001, the first production KAMM 912c, to its new owner, Carlos Garcia, a dedicated sports and supercar enthusiast from Miami, Florida.

This exceptional vehicle, meticulously crafted by KAMM engineers, began as an original short-wheelbase 1966 model sourced in the USA. Every detail has been customized to meet the exact specifications of Carlos Garcia, from the ultra-lightweight KAMM carbon-hybrid wheels to the upgraded air-conditioning system, ensuring comfort under the Florida sun.

Carlos discovered the KAMM 912c through a magazine road test feature and was the first to place an order. As an avid collector of some of the world’s finest driver’s cars, including notable road-going Porsches, Carlos has a penchant for gloss black finishes. Appropriately, his new KAMM 912c boasts a stunning black and bare carbon finish, seamlessly blending into his esteemed collection.

The inaugural Semi-Carbon 912c, featuring the latest 2024 model year specifications, showcases numerous technical and interior enhancements aimed at boosting performance and comfort while maintaining its lightweight ethos at 750kg.

Upon receiving his new 912c, Carlos expressed his enthusiasm:

“I am humbled and honored to be able to add such a magnificent car to my collection. Every piece of the car, be it simple or complex, has been meticulously developed and engineered, and you can feel the heart and soul within it. Nothing has been left untouched, making it an incredible work of art that still offers a truly analog driving experience. My thanks go to the KAMM team for creating such a special car, and I can’t wait to drive it when it arrives in Miami.”

Since its launch in 2022, the KAMM 912c has garnered global acclaim for its blend of high performance and light weight. Chassis 001 is a 750kg Semi-Carbon model, retaining its original but highly upgraded and restored steel roof and rear quarter panels, combined with KAMM-manufactured carbon fiber panels and extensive use of carbon fiber throughout the vehicle.

KAMManufaktur Founder Miklos Kazmer commented:

“It is a hugely proud moment for all of the KAMM team to present the first customer car here in Budapest. Less than two years ago, I presented the first iteration of the 912c to the world, and now we are starting a year of client deliveries with a vastly more accomplished and refined version of the 912c than was originally shown. Despite this evolution, it remains a lightweight, analog, and classic-looking sports car that is truly unique within the restomod market.”

Following a final shake-down test, the car will be shipped to the USA in July, where it will participate in various shows and events, and be available for select media drives and walk-around presentations.

The 2024 KAMM 912c includes several technical upgrades, such as a more powerful air-cooled, 4-cylinder engine, new KAMM-designed seats, improved aerodynamics for better high-speed stability and reduced wind noise, enhanced air-conditioning, upgraded in-car audio, driver convenience, and improved phone connectivity. Further details on these specifications will be released soon.
