This weekend’s Goodwood Revival will feature a unique collaboration between contemporary artistry and historic motorsport as Daniel Arsham and Team Ikuzawa unveil their bespoke-livery Porsche 904 and an exclusive capsule collection. This partnership marks a significant fusion of modern design with the world’s most prestigious historic motoring event.
The Porsche 904, adorned with a distinctive new livery designed by Arsham and Mai Ikuzawa, combines minimalist branding with lunar and solar motifs. This design is inspired by Daniel Arsham’s early work and Tetsu Ikuzawa’s legacy. The collaboration pays homage to Ikuzawa’s pioneering role as Porsche’s first factory driver from Japan and his iconic achievements, including his victory at the 1967 Japan Grand Prix.
The car will be driven by the father-son duo of Emanuele Pirro, a former Formula 1 driver and five-time Le Mans winner, and Goffredo Pirro. Their participation adds an extra layer of prestige to the event.
In addition to the Porsche 904, the collaboration will showcase a limited-edition capsule collection. The collection, available exclusively at Goodwood, includes a white denim varsity jacket, hoodie, T-shirt, trunk bags, keyring, art print, and car grill badge. Each item reflects the blend of Japanese motorsport heritage with Arsham’s innovative artistic vision and the enduring British legacy of Goodwood.
A special paddock area will be set up near the entrance to the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation presented by Bonhams|Cars, highlighting the partnership’s unique fusion of heritage and contemporary style.
This project also underscores the longstanding friendship between Daniel Arsham, Mai Ikuzawa, and The Duke of Richmond, celebrating their shared passion for racing, art, and fashion.
An exclusive signing session with Daniel Arsham and Mai Ikuzawa is scheduled for Saturday, 7 September, at 2.50pm, offering attendees a chance to engage directly with the creators behind this extraordinary collaboration.
