BMW M4 GT3 EVO

BMW Motorsport engineers have unveiled the latest evolution of their flagship GT racing car, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, at the Nürburgring 24 Hours event. The EVO version of the M4 GT3 will hit the race tracks starting from the 2025 season. Alongside, the BMW M4 GT4 will also see an EVO version available from next season.

The development of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO focused on enhancing drivability, efficiency, and reliability in close consultation with teams and drivers. The aim was to tailor the car perfectly to the needs of customers, prioritizing areas beyond pure performance. BMW M works drivers Jens Klingmann, Bruno Spengler, and Augusto Farfus were instrumental in the test work for the EVO version.

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO features noticeable changes to the chassis, including a lighter cathodic dip coating, smaller aero mirrors, larger air outlets on the front wheel arches, and an altered adjustment range of the rear wing for enhanced aerodynamic efficiency. It also boasts new anti-roll bars, larger rear brake discs, and a refined differential for improved drivability.

The exterior of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO sports the “Inception” design, integrating digitality and dimensionality into a bold, high-contrast mosaic. The iconic M colors appear in three dimensions, and the livery showcases authentic carbon fiber construction for weight savings.

Andreas Roos, Head of BMW M Motorsport, expressed confidence in the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and the BMW M4 GT4 EVO, anticipating further successes in GT racing. Björn Lellmann, Head of Customer Racing at BMW M Motorsport, highlighted the focus on delivering a package that maximizes chances of success for drivers.

Jens Klingmann, BMW M works driver, emphasized the importance of continuous improvement, noting that numerous small enhancements collectively contribute to a significant improvement in the car’s performance.
