Introducing the 1970 Dodge Charger “Ghost,” SpeedKore’s latest masterpiece, featuring an unprecedented ghostly white finish and a full carbon-fiber body. This bespoke creation includes a carbon-fiber floor and wheel tubs, all meticulously crafted and cured in-house using SpeedKore’s aerospace-grade carbon fiber. Mounted on a custom SpeedKore chassis, the Ghost is engineered for modern performance and dynamic handling.
“Ghost represents the evolution of its predecessors and builds on SpeedKore’s mission to fabricate the most advanced 1970 Dodge Charger in the world,” said Jim Kacmarcik, president and owner of SpeedKore, a Kacmarcik Enterprises Company. “Our goal is to meld timeless design, advanced composites, and reliable performance to redefine what the American muscle car should be.”
Under the hood, the Ghost is powered by a reworked Dodge 6.2-liter Hellcat V8, delivering over 700 horsepower through a TREMEC TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission and a carbon-fiber driveshaft. The supercharged engine features a custom cold-air intake, SpeedKore-fabricated headers, and an exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers.
The carbon-fiber construction lowers the Charger’s center of gravity, while the SpeedKore perimeter frame enhances safety and aesthetics by concealing fuel and oil lines. The 14-point roll cage adds rigidity and allows for an extended wheelbase and wider track, improving handling. The suspension includes Detroit Speed double A-arms, a custom four-bar rear setup, and Penske dual-adjustable coilovers, with Brembo brakes providing superior stopping power. Custom HRE wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires complete the performance package.
The exterior boasts machined billet aluminum grille accents, custom LED projector headlights, and a SpeedKore carbon-fiber taillight panel. Inside, the cabin features a custom carbon-fiber dash, carbon-fiber-backed seats with custom leather, and a high-tech audio system from KICKER Audio. Classic Instruments gauges and a SpeedKore center console combine classic Mopar aesthetics with modern technology.
The SpeedKore “Ghost” is a testament to the evolution of American muscle, blending timeless design with cutting-edge technology to create a truly unique performance vehicle.
