This motor supplements the power of the boxer engine with up to 110 lb.-ft. of torque and develops up to 40 kW.

Additionally, the GTS employs an electrically driven turbocharger, which enhances throttle response and performance by quickly developing boost. This turbocharger, combined with a compact high-voltage battery, provides the GTS with a total system power of 532 hp and 449 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 194 mph.
