Škoda Enyaq vRS and Coupé vRS: Electrified Performance Meets Everyday Versatility

Škoda Auto has unveiled the flagship variants of its Enyaq family – the new Enyaq vRS and Enyaq Coupé vRS. Positioned as the brand’s fastest-accelerating production vehicles alongside the Elroq vRS, these electric models blend sporty performance with refined practicality. Set to go on sale from mid-June with prices starting at £51,660 OTR, the vRS duo debuts at the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, reinforcing Škoda’s long-standing partnership with the global event.

Powertrain and Performance: At the core of both vRS models lies a dual-motor setup producing a robust 340 PS. This all-wheel-drive system propels the Enyaq vRS and Coupé vRS from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds, with a top speed of 111 mph. The high-voltage battery boasts a usable capacity of 79 kWh, supporting rapid DC charging up to 185 kW. Charging from 10 to 80% takes only 26 minutes, while the WLTP electric driving range exceeds 340 miles. For home or AC charging, an 11 kW system completes a full charge in approximately 8.5 hours.

Design and Exterior Accents: Sporting Škoda’s Modern Solid design language, both vRS models feature the illuminated Tech-Deck Face grille and distinctive LED Matrix beam headlights. High-gloss black detailing and bespoke vRS elements, such as the vertical light grille and dynamic animations, enhance the aggressive front end. Aerodynamic refinements result in a drag coefficient starting at 0.251 for the SUV and 0.239 for the Coupé variant. Exclusive alloy wheels, including 20-inch Draconis black wheels and optional 21-inch Vision anthracite designs, amplify the road presence.

Dynamic Driving Experience: A specially tuned sport chassis lowers the front and rear axles by 15 mm and 10 mm respectively, improving handling agility. Progressive steering and sports tyres come standard, while powerful front brakes with two-piston calipers increase stopping performance. Adaptive DCC chassis technology allows 15 levels of damper settings, and the Driving Mode Select includes a tailored traction mode for optimal all-wheel-drive performance. Drivers can also select between two unique driving sounds – Sport and Futuristic.

Interior Options and Comfort: The cabin offers a choice between two interior Design Selections – vRS Suite and vRS Lounge. The vRS Suite features black leather and artificial leather with grey stitching and carbon-look décor. The optional Lounge package adds microsuede upholstery with lime green stitching and exclusive trim finishes. Electrically adjustable front sports seats come with integrated headrests, massage and memory functions, and lumbar support, while tri-zone climate control and mechanical sunshades further enhance comfort.

Advanced Technology Integration: Both models are equipped with a 5-inch Digital Cockpit, 13-inch infotainment display, and a head-up display with Augmented Reality. A 12-speaker CANTON premium sound system with 635 W output adds immersive audio to the driving experience. The infotainment interface features a dedicated Heaters button for quick access to multiple heating functions. All graphics and animations are vRS-specific, aligning the digital experience with the sporty aesthetic.

Simply Clever Solutions: True to Škoda’s identity, the vRS models offer a host of practical features. Four fast-charging USB-C ports deliver up to 45 W each, while the wireless charging pad offers 15 W and active cooling. A Virtual Pedal-enabled electric boot ensures hands-free access to the spacious rear storage area. A scannable QR code in the boot allows users to quickly access tips and features, embodying Škoda’s commitment to convenience and innovation.

Global Debut and Market Entry: The Enyaq vRS and Coupé vRS make their first public appearance during the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden and Denmark. Reflecting Škoda’s decades-long sponsorship of the tournament, the premiere aligns cutting-edge automotive innovation with the energy of international sport. Orders for both models open on 12 June, marking a new chapter for Škoda’s electric performance line-up.
