Singer Celebrates Porsche 911 Turbo’s 50th Anniversary with Personalized Restorations

Singer Vehicle Design has unveiled a stunning display of personalized Porsche 911 restorations in their latest Family Portrait, showcasing four distinct reimaginings of the iconic 911: coupe, slantnose coupe, targa, and cabriolet. This celebration highlights the company’s dedication to collaboration with owners, reflecting individual preferences and styles.

Rob Dickinson, Founder and Executive Chairman of Singer, commented:

“The 911 Turbo was launched fifty years ago. Since then it has been a poster child, autobahn hero and race winner, loved by drivers and enthusiasts around the world. We’re excited to be collaborating with owners to celebrate this icon of road and track and to wish the turbocharged 911 a very happy birthday.”

Singer’s bespoke restoration process starts with each owner’s original Porsche 911, reimagined around the Type 964 chassis to meet their unique specifications. With only 25 allocations available for slantnose coupe restorations, each slot has been eagerly claimed.

Restorations feature an evolved version of the original Mezger flat-six engine, now equipped with twin turbochargers, variable turbine geometry, and air-water intercooling to achieve 510HP. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, complemented by traction control and electronic stability control developed in partnership with Bosch. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres enhance grip and performance, allowing each owner to fine-tune their car’s character for either sports or grand touring experiences.

Singer’s commitment to personalized excellence ensures that each reimagined Porsche 911 Turbo is a unique celebration of its enduring legacy.
