RUF RODEO CTR3 EVO TRIBUTE, three names that demand attention. At The Quail during Monterey Car Week, these machines stood as proof that RUF still builds cars with heart, heritage, and performance that makes you want to grab the wheel.
First Production RUF RODEO Goes Bold
The first customer RUF RODEO rolled in wearing Jordan Black paint and white centerlock wheels. It’s an off-road sports car with the soul of a supercar. This is no ordinary ride, it’s built on a carbon-fiber monocoque and ready for any terrain. White roof rails, bash bars, and wider tracks front and rear give it an aggressive stance.
Power and Performance of the RUF RODEO
Under the hood sits a 3.6-liter turbocharged flat-six making 610 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual keeps things analog, while the fully adjustable all-wheel drive lets you tailor grip on the fly. Suspension travel is raised for rough ground, and RUF ceramic brakes make sure you can stop as hard as you go.
RUF CTR3 EVO Brings the Heat
Next to the RODEO, the CTR3 EVO looked every bit the track predator. Finished in Howe White, it mixes elegance with raw aggression. The low nose, huge carbon wing, and purposeful aero all scream speed. It’s the fastest RUF yet, topping out at 236 mph.
Heart of the CTR3 EVO
Its 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six sends 800 horsepower to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Carbon-ceramic brakes and a lightweight body keep it razor-sharp in every corner. The EVO is RUF engineering at full attack mode.
RUF TRIBUTE Honors Air-Cooled Glory
Then there’s the TRIBUTE, RUF’s love letter to air-cooled engines. Powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo air-cooled flat-six making 550 horsepower, it’s the only production air-cooled car from an OEM today. A seven-speed manual channels every rev to the rear wheels, keeping the experience pure.
Three Visions, One Philosophy
The RODEO captures adventure, the CTR3 EVO masters speed, and the TRIBUTE keeps history alive. All are handbuilt in Pfaffenhausen, Germany, with a focus on analog connection in a digital world.
Summary
RUF’s triple showing at The Quail proved the brand is as fearless as ever. From dirt trails to racetracks, these machines show that passion, power, and craftsmanship still matter.
