Pink Corvette Stingray

The Pink Corvette Stingray pace car is returning to the NASCAR Cup Series, symbolizing Chevrolet’s continued support for the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign. This season marks 15 years of Chevrolet’s active involvement in raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support.

Racing for Awareness and Impact

The special pink Corvette Stingray will serve as the official pace car for the upcoming races at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. Each event will showcase the fusion of racing excitement and community-driven purpose, reminding fans that speed can be a force for good.

“Chevrolet stands with the American Cancer Society’s efforts to end breast cancer,” said Todd Christensen, Director of Motorsports Marketing & Activation at Chevrolet. “When the pink Corvette Stingray leads the NASCAR Cup Series field, we hope fans will join us in raising funds and awareness across the nation.”

Donations with Every Lap

Every caution lap completed by the pink pace car during the two NASCAR races will generate a $500 donation to the American Cancer Society, with a maximum contribution of $25,000. Additionally, Chevrolet will donate $1,500 for each Team Chevy driver finishing in the top ten at these events, further strengthening the campaign’s impact.

In 2024, 54 caution laps across the two races resulted in an $18,900 donation. Building on that momentum, Chevrolet continues to link its motorsport legacy with meaningful charitable initiatives, driving real-world change from the racetrack to local communities.

A Legacy of Support and Community

The 2023 campaign featured a pink Chevrolet Camaro SS pace car, which will soon be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Fall Auction, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. This year, the Corvette Stingray takes up the mantle, blending performance heritage with heartfelt purpose.

Performance and Presence

The Corvette Stingray delivers the perfect mix of power and elegance for this symbolic role. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. Its dynamic performance and unmistakable pink livery make it both a racing icon and a beacon of hope on the track.
