For the third consecutive year, Lamborghini participated in Auto e Moto d’Epoca, the major European classic car exhibition held at BolognaFiere. The display centered on Lamborghini’s oldest surviving model, the 350 GT chassis no. 2, the first production car ever built by the marque. Alongside it, a 1:1 interior study of the 350 GT, dated 1963, offered visitors a glimpse into the early creative process that shaped Lamborghini’s identity.
Original materials, historical documents, and restored components from the brand’s archive completed the showcase, underlining Polo Storico’s mission to preserve and protect Lamborghini’s industrial and stylistic heritage.

The 350 GT displayed in Bologna is currently undergoing official authenticity certification by Polo Storico. Powered by a 3.5-litre V12 engine designed by Giotto Bizzarrini and refined by Paolo Stanzani, the car marked Lamborghini’s entry into grand touring excellence. It also features a rare prototype emblem in white and black , an early design by Ferruccio Lamborghini that preceded the famous golden bull.

The 350 GT’s 3.5-litre V12 engine produced 280 PS, enabling a top speed of around 240 km/h , extraordinary performance for its era. Built using Carrozzeria Touring’s Superleggera construction, it set the engineering foundation for Lamborghini’s later masterpieces, including the Miura.
