The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is a high-performance variant of the acclaimed ‘S650’ Mustang. In its stock form, the Dark Horse is equipped with a naturally aspirated Gen-4 Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing 500 bhp and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds with the 10-speed automatic transmission. Hennessey takes this to the next level by adding a high-performance supercharger, high-flow air induction system, upgraded fuel injectors, and a robust fuel pump, all managed by Hennessey’s proprietary engine management system.
Performance Enhancements
Hennessey’s modifications dramatically improve the Mustang’s performance metrics:
