This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake is a Speedster Edition that is powered by a Whipple-supercharged 5.0-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Oxford White with Azure Blue stripes over Ebony leather upholstery. The car is equipped with a Speedster tonneau cover, Super-Snake specific front and rear fascias, a dual-intake ram air hood, and widened aluminum front fenders along with a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust system, 20″ forged aluminum wheels, Brembo brakes, a Shelby Performance Track Handling Suspension, Shelby rear half-shafts, and Shelby transmission and brake cooling systems. Additional equipment includes heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front seats as well as SYNC 3 infotainment with voice-activated navigation, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and adaptive cruise control. It was delivered new to Shelby American of Las Vegas, Nevada, and now has 78 miles. This Super Snake is now offered by the selling dealer with Ford and Shelby window stickers, the owner’s manual, an accident-free Carfax report, and a Ford Certificate of Origin.
The car is finished in Oxford White with Azure Blue vinyl over-the-top stripes and matching lower door graphics. The Speedster Edition specified a unique body-color Speedster tonneau cover, and additional exterior details include a Super Snake-specific dual-intake ram air hood, a front splitter, widened aluminum front fenders, revised fascias and rocker panels, carbon-fiber mirror caps, a rear spoiler, and a Shelby-branded taillight panel.
Shelby 20″ forged aluminum wheels are mounted with 305/30 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car features a front and rear independent suspension with stabilizer bars, and stopping power is provided by ventilated disc brakes fitted at each corner.
The heated, cooled, and power-adjustable front bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with microsuede inserts, silver stitching, and Super Snake backrest embroidery. The interior is equipped with Speedster Edition door sill plates and floor mats, and additional amenities include engine-turned dashboard trim, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and SYNC 3 infotainment with an 8″ touchscreen and voice-activated navigation.
This Super Snake is identified by a dashboard plaque showing the individual Shelby American CSM number of 22SS00277.
The heated multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 78 miles.
The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 features Super Snake-specific modifications including a polished Whipple supercharger, the Shelby Extreme Cooling system, a performance intake, a billet throttle body, high-performance fuel injectors, and a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust system. Shelby American rated the engine at 825 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gearing. The car is also equipped with a transmission cooler, Shelby performance half-shafts, and a Shelby performance one-piece driveshaft.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Shelby American of Las Vegas, Nevada, and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $63,275. A Shelby window sticker noting a total manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $151,265 is shown in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and notes a single entry in Nevada. A manufacturer safety recall related to the body control module configuration is noted in an October 2023 entry.
