Over the past two decades, Ferrari has mastered the art of building ultra-focused special models. Think 488 Pista. Think 812 Competizione. Alongside them, the XX Programme gave us non-road-legal monsters like the FXX-K EVO. Now, Ferrari merges those two worlds into the SF90 XX Stradale, street legal, but engineered for the edge.

Under the sleek body lies Ferrari’s 1,030 cv hybrid powertrain, making it the most powerful road-legal Ferrari V8 ever. It combines a 797 cv twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors generating 233 cv. That’s 30 more horsepower than the standard SF90 Stradale.

This setup propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds. Top speed? A breathtaking 320 km/h. In full electric mode, it offers a 25 km range and a max speed of 135 km/h. A true hybrid rocket.

Tuned Sound and Razor-Sharp Gear Changes

The hot tube system inside the cabin amplifies the V8’s sound, pushing sharper harmonics directly into the cockpit. Even the 8-speed F1 DCT gearbox was updated to deliver more aggressive, responsive shifts with dynamic overrun effects, borrowed straight from the Daytona SP3.

Aerodynamics from the Track to the Road

Aerodynamics are central to the SF90 XX Stradale’s identity. It features the first fixed rear wing on a road Ferrari since the F50. The wing and redesigned underbody create a massive 530 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. Two S-Ducts, new splitters, and vortex generators increase stability and grip.

This aero setup lets the XX Stradale outpace even the SF90 Stradale around Fiorano. Drag was carefully balanced with downforce, making this the most aerodynamically efficient Ferrari road car to date.

Advanced Vehicle Dynamics with Extra Boost Logic

Ferrari’s latest dynamic systems debut here. A new ABS EVO controller, improved Side Slip Control, and Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer 2.0 make the car more intuitive and precise.

Even more impressive is the “Extra Boost” logic. Available in Qualifying mode, it delivers short bursts of extra power out of corners, improving lap times by up to 0.25 seconds.

Interior Weight Savings and Purposeful Design

Inside, it’s all about performance. Lightweight racing seats with carbon structures save 1.3 kg. A minimalist center tunnel and new gear gate trim reduce weight while highlighting the car’s racing intent.

The digital cockpit integrates new displays and control logic to manage hybrid systems, eManettino modes, and the extra boost graph. It’s race-bred, yet road-usable.

SF90 XX Spider: Open-Top Performance

Ferrari didn’t stop with a coupe. The SF90 XX Spider brings all the engineering of the XX Stradale into an open-air package. Its flying buttress design and carbon-fiber roof allow the car to retain its aggressive lines. The roof opens in 14 seconds, even while moving up to 45 km/h.

7 Years of Ferrari Maintenance

Like all new Ferraris, both SF90 XX variants are covered by a seven-year maintenance program. It includes annual service and factory-certified parts and labor, ensuring long-term peak performance.
