Unveiled at the BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin, the BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND captured the imagination of Paul Brauchart, founder and managing director of VAGABUND Moto GmbH. “We were immediately in love when we saw the CE 02 for the first time. Its design was a perfect match for us. At VAGABUND, we’re all about breaking new ground and reinterpreting existing products in our own way. For this project, we embraced a ‘retro-future’ approach, blending the CE 02’s futuristic design with retro elements to evoke a sense of familiarity,” explains Brauchart.
The BMW CE 02 x VAGABUND stands out with its innovative design, merging futuristic aesthetics with functional retro features. Key highlights include the integration of the “OB-4 Magic Radio” by Teenage Engineering, emphasizing the custom bike’s youthful and creative ethos. The “electric exhaust” not only serves as a visual highlight but also features space for an umbrella, adding practical style. Design elements like the running board with skateboard grip tape underscore the sporty, urban character of this eParkourer.
Further enhancing its appeal, the custom bike’s 3.6-meter high packaging aligns with the overall design concept, making it a true eye-catcher in the world of modern custom motorcycles.
