The Bentley Blower Jnr George Cleverley Edition stands as a remarkable fusion of British craftsmanship, history, and innovation. Created by Hedley Studios in collaboration with London’s bespoke shoemaker George Cleverley, this one-off Blower Jnr embodies the timeless artistry that defines both brands. It debuts at a private event in Scotland, celebrating 239 years of craftsmanship heritage.
A meeting of British masters
This collaboration unites two icons of British luxury who share a devotion to tradition and artisanal excellence. Hedley Studios brings its expertise in hand-built electric reinterpretations of vintage cars, while George Cleverley contributes a heritage of shoemaking that dates back over a century.

239-year-old reindeer leather with royal provenance
At the heart of this project lies a rare material: Russian reindeer leather salvaged from the 1786 Metta Catharina shipwreck. The vessel, carrying hides from St. Petersburg to Genoa, sank off Plymouth Sound during a fierce storm. Two centuries later, divers recovered the preserved hides, which retained their cross-hatched grain and signature scent thanks to traditional tanning with birch oil and willow bark.
George Cleverley secured a small portion of this historic leather, also used to craft shoes for HM King Charles III. For the Bentley Blower Jnr, the precious material has been delicately applied to the steering wheel and seatbelt covers, connecting Bentley’s automotive legacy with royal craftsmanship heritage. Given the leather’s rarity, this vehicle will remain a true one-of-one creation.

Exquisite detailing and design
The Blower Jnr George Cleverley Edition showcases intricate craftsmanship throughout. Its hand-stitched interior combines Tuscany’s finest full-grain hides with Dark Steel accents and a Koa wood dashboard. Custom treadplates and a “GC 1 of 1” nameplate reinforce its exclusivity, while Claret paintwork with a Mulberry Everflex finish harmonises beautifully with the deep-toned cabin.
A discreet number 86 on the front grille subtly nods to the year 1786, the moment those reindeer hides first met the sea. Each component, from leather stitching to final assembly, reflects Hedley Studios’ and George Cleverley’s shared pursuit of excellence.

Electric performance with historic soul
Beneath the classic silhouette lies a 15 kW electric motor powered by a 10.8 kWh battery, offering up to 65 miles (105 km) of range. Charging takes three to five hours, and the car is fully road legal in the UK, EU, and USA. It blends Bentley’s storied past with a sustainable, driveable future.
Ben Hedley, Founder and CEO of Hedley Studios, said: “This collaboration with George Cleverley has taken the Blower Jnr to another level. The use of such historic materials and the extraordinary craftsmanship truly celebrate the best of British tradition.”

George Glasgow Jnr., CEO of George Cleverley, added: “When we use our final pieces of Russian reindeer leather, it must be worthy of its story. The Blower Jnr captures that spirit perfectly , it’s a once-in-a-lifetime project that will never be repeated.”

Summary
The Bentley Blower Jnr George Cleverley Edition stands as a tribute to Britain’s enduring artistry, merging historic materials, royal heritage, and modern electric innovation. It’s a collector’s dream , a car that carries the soul of centuries past into the electric age.
