Audi is set to launch a new, highly efficient drive variant for the Audi Q6 e-tron ahead of its official market debut in August. This new model, the Audi Q6 e-tron performance, features rear-wheel drive and a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery with a gross capacity of 100 kWh (94.9 kWh net), offering an impressive range of up to 641 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. Priced at 68,800 EUR, it is now available for order.
The Q6 e-tron performance’s rear-wheel drive system, a first for Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), is powered by a compact permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM) delivering 240 kW. This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds. Notably, the Q6 e-tron performance also supports rapid charging, adding up to 260 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.
This new model joins the Q6 e-tron lineup, which debuted earlier this year with the Q6 e-tron quattro and the high-performance SQ6 e-tron. The Q6 e-tron performance stands out for its extended range and competitive entry-level price. Deliveries of this model are expected to begin in the third quarter, following the initial releases of the Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron in August.
