BRABUS ROCKET GTS: The 1,000 HP Shooting Brake Redefining the Hyper-GT

BRABUS ROCKET GTS

Extravagant supercars have been the clear domain of the German luxury mobility brand BRABUS since 1977. Every year they fascinate with a new ultra-exclusive highlight. The BRABUS ROCKET GTS for the 2025 collection is built in a limited edition. It truly represents a new jewel in the art of coachbuilding for the brand. This shooting brake is the first hyper gran turismo of its kind with a fully exposed-structure carbon body.

BRABUS ROCKET GTS

Coachbuilding and Carbon Mastery

For the first time in its history, BRABUS crafted the entire shooting brake body from carbon. This material is both especially light and incredibly high-strength. The supercar measures a full 198.5 centimeters wide. Furthermore, the perfect marriage of form and function remains the specialty of BRABUS designers. They are renowned around the globe for sophisticated design. This tasteful style is always strictly aligned with aerodynamic and technical necessity.

Optimized Design and Aerodynamics

BRABUS developed every detail of the new BRABUS ROCKET GTS using state-of-the-art technologies. State-of-the-art CAD technologies and CFD modeling were used extensively. Subsequently, the design was thoroughly optimized in the wind tunnel. This ensures the best possible performance and stability for the discriminating clientele. The aerodynamics play a crucial role for a vehicle designed to be this fast.

Functional Carbon Bodywork

The whole vehicle body is made from this specialized light yet high-strength carbon. All components are carefully produced in an autoclave using the prepreg process. This high-tech process benefits the strength and the flawlessly smooth surface of all components. To achieve the desired cutting-edge look, all carbon parts are finished with a high-gloss sealer. This attention to detail defines the entire machine.

Enhancing Stability at High Velocity

The front and rear bodywork components must be perfectly shaped and matched. Consequently, this creates the optimal balance of aerodynamic downforce. This guarantees outstanding handling stability. This stable handling remains even at speeds north of 300 km/h. Furthermore, efficient air intakes and vents are essential. They supply cooling and combustion air to all the power units.

BRABUS ROCKET Exterior Details

The BRABUS ROCKET front fascia creates perfect transitions to the wider front fenders. In addition, the integrated spoiler effectively reduces front-axle lift at high speeds. Large air intakes expertly route the airflow to the radiators and the front brakes. The exposed-structure carbon rocker panels transition into the ROCKET quarter panels. These dynamically curved wheel arches give the new supercar its unique 198.5 centimeter-wide profile.

Exclusive Wheel and Tire Setup

The extended width creates ample space for the custom-designed BRABUS Monoblock P rims. These wheels feature a captivating five-spoke and center-lock styling. They are produced using the most advanced forging and machining technology available. This process results in a perfect combination of low weight and high strength. Furthermore, exposed-structure carbon aeroblades are integrated into the wheels. These blades amplify the unmistakable visual effect of the hyper GT. The blades also use the rim’s rotation to efficiently extract air. This extracts the air that has been heated by the brakes from the fender wells.

Extraordinary Dimensions for Grip

The wheel sizes used are just as extraordinary as the design itself. Under the wide front fenders sit 10.5Jx21 rims. They carry 275/35 ZR 21 SportContact 7 high-performance tires from Continental. Larger 12Jx22 rims are found on the rear axle. These rear wheels mount 335/25 ZR 22 tires. This combination ensures the combined power of the hybrid system effectively transfers to the road.

The Striking Rear End

The rear is formed by the BRABUS ROCKET fascia. It features an integral exposed-structure carbon diffuser. This diffuser perfectly showcases the four titanium tailpipes of the high-performance exhaust system. The tailpipes have striking red lighting and are wrapped in exposed-structure carbon. The diffuser also plays a vital part in increasing rear downforce. It works in concert with the combination of the BRABUS rear hatch spoiler. The ducktail spoiler, integrated below the window, also helps increase downforce.

Engine Specs and Hybrid Performance

The high-end hybrid drive system features a BRABUS 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 increased-displacement engine. Additionally, it has an electric motor on the rear axle. This combination is precisely matched. The BRABUS ROCKET 1000 4.5-liter V8 engine produces a peak output of 585 kW / 796 hp. The internal combustion engine’s part of the torque is limited to 1,050 Nm. The electric drive unit on the rear axle produces 150 kW / 204 hp. This system uses a lithium-ion battery with a 6.1 kWh capacity.

System Output and Acceleration

The perfectly synchronized combination produces a stunning combined system output of 735 kW / 1,000 hp. Even more impressive is the aggregated peak torque of 1,820 Nm. This breathtaking figure is electronically limited to 1,620 Nm to protect the drivetrain components. The power goes to all four wheels via an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system. A nine-speed sports transmission handles the power transfer. This incredible power launches the BRABUS ROCKET GTS from rest to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. The supercar hits the mark of 300 km/h after only 23.6 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 317 km/h.

Attention to Detail and Custom Materials

Matching the exposed-structure carbon body, the master upholsterers used soft, durable “Slate Gray” leather. They upholstered the seat center sections, door panels, and dashboard in this leather. The headliner and pillars were covered with dark Alcantara. Prime examples of BRABUS attention to detail are the light gray decorative seams. The quilting in BRABUS shell pattern design is applied with pinpoint precision. Carbon scuff plates with a backlit BRABUS logo welcome the crew. Furthermore, all trim features a matte BRABUS “Shadow Gray” glazing.

BRABUS ROCKET GTS

The BRABUS ROCKET GTS is an absolute highlight in the long and successful supercar history of the luxury brand. It is built to order in a limited edition according to the future owner’s personal wishes. Its blend of high-end coachbuilding and immense hybrid performance creates a truly singular driving experience.
