The multi-award-winning Renault 5 E-Tech electric will be one of the star attractions. Displayed in bright pop! Yellow and pop! Green finishes, it’s expected to make several spirited runs up the famous 1.16-mile hill course. With pricing from £22,995, the Renault 5 E-Tech has quickly become a standout among UK private EV buyers.

Also making its UK debut is the all-new Renault 4 E-Tech electric. Designed with increased ground clearance and a longer wheelbase, this compact crossover pays homage to the original Renault 4. Key design cues include a distinctive single-piece illuminated grille, vertical rear lights, and a surprisingly spacious cabin.

Dedicated Performance: Renault 5 Turbo 3E Drifter

The Renault 5 Turbo 3E will make its UK premiere as a full-scale design model. Weighing only 1,450 kg, it’s capable of sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in under 3.5 seconds and hitting a top speed of 167 mph.

Production will be limited to 1,980 units, honoring the original Renault 5 Turbo’s 1980 launch year. Priced from £140,000, the Turbo 3E is already generating strong buzz ahead of its 2027 delivery schedule.

Renault Classic and Drifting Nostalgia

Goodwood attendees can also look forward to seeing the Renault 5 Turbo 3E concept, affectionately known as “Drifter”, which made waves at the 2023 event. Its wild, drifting hill runs are expected to make a dramatic return, thrilling crowds once again.

Adding a heritage touch, Renault will also present a 1980s Renault 5 Maxi Turbo. Famously driven by rally legend Jean Ragnotti, this car will participate in hill runs, evoking the raw energy of classic motorsport.

Formula One History on Display

Renault Classic is set to bring an iconic trio of F1 cars to Goodwood. These include the 1978 RS10 driven by Jean-Pierre Jabouille (to be driven by his son Victor), the RE40 originally raced by Alain Prost (to be driven by Nicolas Prost), and the 1995 B195 once piloted by Michael Schumacher, which will be shown on static display.
