The BMW Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 experience is shaping up to be one of the brand’s most exciting appearances yet. From cutting-edge Vision concepts to thrilling M models, BMW will take center stage to showcase its legacy and future.
BMW Vision Concepts to Take the Spotlight
BMW will unveil several Vision concepts in the UK for the first time. Leading the charge is the BMW Vision Driving Experience, designed to test future performance tech with up to 18,000 Nm of torque. Though not bound for roads, this extreme machine previews the Neue Klasse drivetrain set for production later in 2025.
The BMW Vision Neue Klasse X will also debut, bringing a bold reinterpretation of the iconic X silhouette. With a clean design and electric performance, it sets the tone for the upcoming BMW iX3.
Alongside it, the sleek BMW Vision Neue Klasse sedan will be displayed, signaling BMW’s next era of luxury mobility.
BMW M2 CS Set for UK Debut at Goodwood 2025
The highly anticipated BMW M2 CS will make its first public appearance in the UK at the festival. Following its global reveal, this limited-edition powerhouse will demonstrate its agility on the hill climb and be featured on BMW’s main stand.
The M3 CS Touring will also join the action, offering a mix of touring utility and performance prowess. Visitors will get a unique perspective from “The Ultimate Seat in the House” on the stand’s top floor.
BMW’s presence will also include the updated XM Label, the new M5 Touring, and the compact M135 xDrive. Motorcycle fans can expect thrilling displays from BMW Motorrad, including the new Concept RR, which will be ridden by Markus Flasch himself.
BMW 3 Series: Celebrating 50 Years of an Icon
This year, BMW will honor the 50th anniversary of the legendary BMW 3 Series. A full seven-generation parade will take place on Thursday, 10 July.
BMW Group Classic will present iconic 3 Series race cars, including the BMW 320 Group 5, the E36 318i touring car, and the E46 M3 GTR. Motorsport legends Marc Surer, Dirk Adorf, and Andy Priaulx will guide them up the Goodwood hill.
Adding to the legacy celebration, Marc Surer is expected to drive the 1983 Formula 1 World Champion, Brabham BMW BT52 Turbo, in a special tribute to 75 years of Formula 1.
Off-Road Icons and Two-Wheel Thrills
The legendary BMW R 80 G/S Paris-Dakar motorcycle will return to action, commemorating its 1985 victory. It’s one of the many ways BMW will celebrate both heritage and adventure at the event.
A wide range of BMW M motorcycles will also be on display, giving visitors a glimpse at future superbike concepts.
BMW Concept Speedtop Headlines the Luxury Showcase
Among BMW’s four UK premieres is the striking BMW Concept Speedtop, a sleek, limited-production shooting brake with only 70 units planned worldwide. This refined model will be presented in the BMW Individual Lounge.
Guests will also be able to experience the luxury of the BMW i7 M70 xDrive and customize their dream car using the BMW Individual Configurator.
Immersive Experiences and Exclusive Conversations
BMW’s Home of the Ultimate Driving Machine stand will offer far more than just cars. The BMW Sounds and Stories studio will host live talks with racing figures like Charlie Martin and Vicki Butler-Henderson.
Meanwhile, The Ultimate Racing Machine sim garage will challenge guests to race around Spa-Francorchamps in the M Hybrid V8 prototype, bringing racing dreams to life in high definition.
