Volvo Car USA Reveals 2025 Model Year Pricing and Updates

Volvo Car USA has announced the full pricing and updates for its 2025 lineup, emphasizing electrification with the introduction of the Volvo EX90 and EX30 fully electric SUVs.

Expanding Electrification

The flagship Volvo EX90, unveiled in November 2022, redefines safety and sustainability. Built on a dedicated electric platform, the seven-seat luxury SUV offers up to 310 miles of range and charges from 10-80% in about 30 minutes. Prices start at $79,995 (MSRP).

The compact Volvo EX30, one of Europe’s best-selling EVs, debuts in the U.S. with a starting price of $44,900 (MSRP). Its Twin Motor Performance variant delivers 422 hp, all-wheel drive, and a range of 253 miles.

Updates Across the Lineup

The 2025 lineup introduces the EX40, replacing the XC40 Recharge name for the fully electric variant, while the mild-hybrid XC40 retains its name. Enhancements include increased battery capacity and faster charging.

The iconic XC90 receives design updates for its 2025.5 version, including a reimagined front end, upgraded interior materials, and advanced chassis technology. Plug-in hybrid variants now offer up to 33 miles of electric range.

Volvo also simplifies its naming strategy, dropping “Recharge” from plug-in hybrids. The C40 Recharge will return as the EC40 for the 2026 model year.
