Arcade Cars Unveils Everrati Sojourn at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

Arcade Cars, the British automotive design and technology company renowned for redefining classic automobiles, has officially debuted its inaugural model, the Sojourn, at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

From August 15-18, Pebble Beach serves as the backdrop for this global automotive celebration, offering the perfect stage for Arcade’s bespoke creation. The Sojourn reimagines the legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class for the modern era, blending cutting-edge technology with luxurious features.

The Sojourn sets a new benchmark for revamping the iconic G-Class. This fully restored and customized luxury 4×4 is based on the celebrated GE 230 model, renowned for its rugged capability and classic design. With its straight lines and distinctive silhouette, the GE 230’s timeless appeal is ened in the Sojourn, which melds classic aesthetics with contemporary innovation.

Arcade selects its donor vehicles from a pool of former Swiss Army stock, ensuring authenticity in every restoration. The Sojourn, available in six- or eight-seat configurations and with a choice of petrol or electric powertrains, is fully customizable to meet each owner’s preferences. At Pebble Beach, the Sojourn is showcased on the stand of Everrati, Arcade’s development partner specializing in electrification. Everrati’s advanced electric powertrain integrates seamlessly into the Sojourn, offering a zero-emission option that merges tradition with modernity.

The electric Sojourn features Everrati’s state-of-the-art drivetrain with a 55kWh battery, delivering 153PS and 300Nm of torque, and a 150-mile range. This combination maintains the spirit of the original while embracing sustainable luxury.

For enthusiasts preferring internal combustion engines, Arcade offers two petrol options derived from the original GE230 engine: a 128PS/190Nm 2.3-litre four-cylinder or an enhanced 2.8-litre engine with 151PS and 237Nm of torque. For the US and Middle Eastern markets, additional powerful engine options are available.

Customization is at the heart of the Sojourn experience. Owners can choose from a wide array of bespoke interior trims, luxury features, and striking exterior paint finishes. While the brand offers signature colors like Racing Green and Pacific Blue, customers have virtually limitless options.

The Sojourn’s interior features high-quality leather and fabric, meticulously hand-cut and stitched by Arcade’s artisans. The vehicle’s design includes both traditional and modern seating configurations, with options for an original eight-seat ‘long-bench’ or a more contemporary setup with bucket and jump seats.

Modern technology updates include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and retro-inspired Bluetooth systems, complemented by premium audio options. The Sojourn can be equipped with advanced lighting and accessories, enhancing its capability for diverse adventures.

Arcade Cars, headquartered in London with operations in Austria and Stuttgart, Germany, partners with industry leaders to deliver unparalleled quality. The Sojourn’s order books are now open with limited pre-order slots available during Monterey Car Week. First customer deliveries are anticipated in late 2024.

Rishav Kanoria, Arcade Cars Founder and CEO, expressed his excitement: “We’re thrilled to unveil the Sojourn at Pebble Beach, showcasing it at one of the world’s premier automotive events. The positive response to our redefined G-Class has been overwhelming. Arcade Cars was created to satisfy the desire for the elegance and charm of classic vehicles, and this response underscores that. We look forward to continuing our journey in California. Our collaboration with Everrati brings a classic into the electric age, offering our customers a quieter, faster, and greener driving experience.”
