Hispano Suiza is making a grand statement at the prestigious Monterey Car Week, held in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, from August 9 to 18. This premier summer event attracts a diverse crowd of around 100,000 attendees, including car collectors, enthusiasts, and celebrities.
A key highlight of the week will be The Quail, ‘A Motorsport Gathering’, where Hispano Suiza will unveil the Carmen Sagrera to the American audience. This cutting-edge hypercar, featuring an impressive 1,114 horsepower and a 103 kWh battery, epitomizes the brand’s 120 years of heritage and innovation.
At the Hispano Suiza stand, attendees will find a variety of attractions, including a new Capsule Collection in the merchandising area, a hospitality zone, and an exhibition space. The official presentation of the Carmen Sagrera is scheduled for August 16 at 11:00 am (local time) during a dedicated press conference.
The event will also celebrate the rich history of Hispano Suiza with the display of the iconic 1938 Hispano Suiza Xenia Dubonnet. This historic model, built on the chassis of the Hispano-Suiza H6B and designed by aerodynamics pioneer Jean Andreau, represents one of the most extravagant and aerodynamic cars of its era.
Further honoring Hispano Suiza’s 120th anniversary, an exclusive exhibition will take place in the Chairman’s Lounge, highlighting the brand’s storied past and its ongoing legacy.
