Following the successful US launch of the RM1, the RM1S enhances the proven concept of city riding with increased speed and range. The RM1S boasts a top speed of 70 mph and an 80-mile range, powered by a rear hub-mounted motor delivering 7.0 kW continuous power (10.5 kW peak) and 184 ft-lbs of torque.
The RM1S offers smooth, efficient riding, effortlessly navigating urban traffic and capable of highway speeds. With a curb weight of 293 lbs and a seat height of 785 mm, it ensures easy maneuverability at all speeds.
The RM1S features a removable power pack that can be charged on the bike or at home or work via a standard socket. The dual battery pack, containing LG 21700 cells, charges from 20% to 100% in just three hours. A redesigned case replaces the conventional petrol engine, providing 2.6 gallons of lockable storage space.
Classic styling elements, inspired by 1920s board tracker bikes and the café racer era, include twin shocks, an analog speedometer, and a diamond-stitched solo seat. Modern touches include powerful LED lights and responsive calipers on single discs front and back with linked braking. The Dunlop K70 tires, though retro in appearance, offer contemporary performance, enhanced by three switchable riding modes for various conditions.
