Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival Edition Named ‘Best Continuation Car’ by Robb Report

The Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival has been named Robb Report’s best Continuation Car in the magazine’s 2024 Annual Best of the Best Awards. This year marks 36 years of the Best of the Best awards, which are seen as one of the premier accolades in the luxury industry, recognized worldwide with 16 categories including fashion, cars, yachts, art, design, food, wine and philanthropy.

Robb Report Best of the Best judges applauded the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival for its time-machine-like attention to detail and its beautiful craftsmanship, creating an authentic celebration of the Bizzarrini car that won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965.

Simon Busby CMO of Bizzarrini said: “There’s a huge amount of competition in this class, so it’s a real honor to receive the award from Robb Report for Best Continuation Car. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to preserving automotive heritage whilst integrating modern precision. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure every detail reflects the timeless elegance and blistering performance of the original, and we are thrilled that our dedication has been acknowledged in this way. The timing of the award is also significant as it coincides with the completion of the Corsa Revival build programme with all 24 cars now complete, as we turn our focus onto the ongoing development of the all-new Giotto hypercar. Giotto is designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, alongside his son Fabrizio at GFG Style in Turin, Italy, and it rekindles a brand partnership first established 60 years ago when a young Giorgetto, whilst at Bertone, contributed to the design of the original Bizzarrini 5300 GT.”

The Corsa Revival continuation programme began 24 months ago, with the 24th and final car being completed recently. Each car in the Revival series is crafted with a lightweight single piece composite body, over a steel frame. Inside, the two seats are protected by a more comprehensive six-point roll cage and safety fuel cell, meeting FIA Appendix K regulations. With a front-mid engine layout, independent rear suspension to Giotto’s innovative Corsa specification and all-round disc brakes paired with a period-specific 5,300 cubic centimeter V8 developing over 400 horsepower, the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival has a power to weight ratio comparable to a modern supercar.
