ABT Audi RS4

ABT Audi RS4

The first Audi RS 4 appeared in late 1999, and created quite a stir with its 381 hp (280 kW)! Meanwhile, the revised 4th generation of the sports estate car is on the market. With 450 hp (331 kW), it beats the first generation by a mile as far as power is concerned. The difference between the current standard model and its counterpart with ABT Power is of a similar size: 510 hp (375 kW) and 660 Nm, as opposed to 600 Nm, will put a smile on the face of even the most power-hungry. The power boost is due to the ABT Engine Control (AEC), a control unit developed by our engineers. This constantly monitors 25 different parameters, and in conjunction with direct communication between AEC and the engine control unit, ensures optimum power utilisation whilst simultaneously providing maximum protection for the engine.

ABT Power S provides the RS 4 with a performance boost of up to 530 hp (390 kW) and 680 Nm. For this, the ABT watercooler kit and ABT air intake pipe are used in addition to the high-tech control unit AEC.

RS4 SPECS

Torque 600 Nm 660 Nm 680 Nm

It is not all about the engine – the power must also hit the road! To this end, help is provided by, amongst other things, ABT coilover suspension, which enables a lowering of the vehicle by up to 40 mm, and ABT sports anti-roll bars for the front and rear axles. In this way, not only does the driver have optimum control when cornering at speed, but the RS 4 also looks extremely dynamic – even at a standstill.

This effect is intensified by ABT wheelhouse ventilation adorned with real carbonfins, a gloss-finished CFRP ABT rear spoiler, a new ABT stainless steel exhaust system and last but not least by the 20-inch sports GR wheels in glossy black with diamond-finished rim flange and wheel spacers.
