715 HP. Nowadays, such a performance per se is nothing really out of the ordinary. In the meantime, there are even some series-production models in this region or even above. However, these are mostly thoroughbred sports cars. But more than 700 hp in the BMW M2 Competition? That is a very special, remarkable number. Our team makes this possible with the MH2 700. The coupé has not only received extensive technical optimisation. It also has a striking look that perfectly underlines its fascinating performance capability.
We achieved the increase in horsepower of around 75 percent and a maximum torque of 815 Nm by combining a MANHART ECU remapping with a whole series of hardware optimisations. The 3.0-litre S55 biturbo in-line six-cylinder received a MANHART turbo upgrade including a MANHART intercooler and water cooler by CSF, a MANHART carbon intake by ARMAspeed and a MANHART engine boost for up to 1,200 hp as well as MANHART charge pipes made of aluminium. Added to this is a MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with valve function and four matt-black MANHART 100 mm tailpipes. It is combined with MANHART Race downpipes, MANHART OPF Delete replacement pipes made of stainless steel including 300-cell catalytic converters and the MANHART OPF/GPF Deleter. These three components are each exclusively for export, as they do not have TÜV approval.
In view of the enormous increase in power, the MH2 700 also has a MANHART crank hub, a MANHART clutch upgrade and a MANHART Drexler differential. On the chassis side, we installed a MANHART V3 coilover suspension by KW as part of an optimisation. In addition, a MANHART brake kit including cooling kit ensures first-class deceleration values. At the front, six-piston calipers from the F82 M4 GT4 act on 395×34 mm discs, at the rear four-piston calipers on 380×30 mm discs. Carbon-ceramic brake systems are also available as an option.
Visually, the MH2 700, as indicated, relies on much more than the proven MANHART Concave One rims in matte black and 9×20 and 10.5×20 inches respectively. The tyres measure 255/30 ZR20 and 295/25 ZR20. The compact coupé also has a MANHART carbon-fibre Clubsport rear wing, a MANHART CS-style bonnet, a MANHART carbon-fibre front spoiler and an extremely elaborately designed MANHART decal set in black with mint green details. Side skirt attachments, a rear spoiler lip and a diffuser round off the styling. They are also each made of carbon and come from the BMW M Performance programme. Last but not least, the interior is upgraded with Recaro Sportster CS bucket seats, a MANHART Clubsport roll bar, colour accents in mint green and an AWRON auxiliary display.
