Early Delivery and Competition
On 25 April 1957, Baron de Fierlant Dormer took delivery of chassis 0661 GT. Later that year, Belgian racing driver Robert Crevits acquired the car. He entered it in national hillclimb events, securing three GT class victories during the summer of 1960. These results established the Ferrari’s reputation in period competition.

Ownership Across Continents
Following its Belgian racing career, Garage Francorchamps sold the car to a new owner. By 1964, it was registered in the Netherlands. After years in storage, the Ferrari was shipped to South Africa for restoration. It then crossed the Atlantic to Houston, Texas, where Stephen Forristall owned it for 13 years. Christopher Rose of California purchased it in 2000, commissioning further work at Patrick Ottis Company in Berkeley.
Return to Europe
In the early 2000s, Pier Angelo Masselli acquired the car in Italy. He entered rounds of the Ferrari Maserati Historic Challenge at Vallelunga, Spa-Francorchamps, the Nürburgring, and Monza. Later, Andreas Segler of Hannover added concours and Mille Miglia appearances to its record. Michael Kalow continued the tradition, driving the car in the Mille Miglia in 2011 and 2013.

Recent Custodianship
The current vendor purchased the Ferrari in 2013. Under his care, chassis 0661 GT participated in the Tour Auto on four occasions and another Mille Miglia entry. In November 2022, the car received £16,557 of engine rebuild work by David Morris Race Preparation, with invoices confirming the scope of service.
Certification and Documentation
Ferrari Classiche certified the car in March 2004, issuing its Red Book and confirming the presence of the matching-numbers 3.0-litre V12 engine. The Ferrari is also accompanied by a FIVA Identity Card issued in June 2023 and a current TÜV. A spare pair of seats trimmed in beige leather adds to its completeness.
